As we've seen all summer...or lack of summer. the weather was not on our side. with snow covering the peaks around the valley and the colors of fall moving in fast, mother nature provided us with a somewhat descent day. foggy with a slight drizzle from time to time...this year we were prepared with the tents.

with the dreary weather only 20 men and for the first time 6 women arrived at the start zone this year.
staring down into the steep abyss of a 3500 vertical, 6 1/2 km long course was somewhat exhilarating however there was some stiff competition from the local crew and some rippers from out of town.
