How to find it

Follow the Cemetery By-pass trail to What's Up Doc , at the intersection in the clearing continue left up the hill, across a little wooden bridge. You need to turn sharp right back on yourself at the end of the steep section after passing the top of Sidewinder on your left.

This then goes down a little and comes to a junction - if you go straight you pop out on the Ridgemot Road. Turn sharp left and you hit Eco 2 on the attaached map.

The trail

This is the best single-track climb to the Ridgemont clear-cut trail system. You can ride up or down it - it definitely has some steeper up sections, with the switchback above Sidewinder being the hardest section. If you take the left onto Eco 2, then you get a a real fun ride on almost flat ground, looping through the trees and lots of longer sections of boardwalk the elevate you a few inches above soggier ground.
