As a Fernie Mountain Bike Club Member you not only get peace of mind that you are supporting the ongoing maintenance and development of the Fernie trail network, but is a requirement to be able to recreate on private land!
FMBC Memberships expire every year on December 31st.
- Proceeds from your FMBC membership go toward the Fernie Trials Alliance's work in building an maintaining trails.
- The private landowners require that everyone be a member of one of the Fernie Trails Alliance's member clubs (FMBC is a member club) to access their land and that you sign a waiver. Bear in mind that being able to recreate on private land is a privilege not a right.
- You have to be a member to participate in FMBC events. 2nee races, project 9, High Roller, Dirt Diggler, Fernie Women on Wheels, Little Critter Races.
- You gotta pay to play!
- Corporate memberships get their logo on our website and a link to their website.
Effective May 1, 2018 the Fernie Mountain Bike Club (FMBC) will be increasing our membership fees. Last year the FMBC donated 102% of our revenues to the Fernie Trails Alliance (FTA) which is responsible for land use agreements and trail maintenance. In 2018 we hope that our first monetary increase in 5 years (at least) will also benefit the FTA and you…our cherished members. Your membership and signing a waiver can help the FTA with continued private land access.
